It is almost spring hooray! We hope you all had a restful half term, we are now on our way to Easter and this term our new theme is ‘What is a Capital City?’ We will specifically be looking at human and physical features of geography and we will be visiting some other capital cities around the world. There are many fantastic non-fiction books about capital cities, one of the ones that will support our learning this term is: ‘See inside Great Cities’.
In English this term we will be writing a biography of a member from the Royal family. To support World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March 2022 we will be completing an author study, this will include a book review and character description.
In week 3 we will be taking part in ‘National Science Week’. The theme this year is ‘Growth’. During the week we will be taking part in some fantastic investigations. This term our Science will be ‘Forces and Magnets’. Please see the theme table for more details.
Our PE days this term will remain as Monday and Friday.
We look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting term.
